AMA Monster Energy Supercross features local riders at 'Anaheim 2'

Murrieta's Dylan Ferrandis wins Main Event No.2 Saturday, Jan. 19, at the AMA Monster Energy Supercross "Anaheim 2" held at Angels Stadium.

The Monster Energy Supercross returned to Angels Stadium in Anaheim Saturday, Jan. 19, for the third stop in their 17-race series this season. Dubbed "Anaheim 2" – this series marked the first of three Triple Crown events of the season, including Anaheim 2, Detroit and Houston. The Triple Crown utilizes a three-race format, rather than the tradition single, winner-takes-all main event. The rider with the combined lowest race finish using the Olympic scoring system is crowned the overall winner from the three 12-minute-plus-one-lap races. The 250SX West class went 10 minutes plus one lap....
