Code Enforcement employee delivers baby outside office

PERRIS – A code enforcement aide was surprised with a special delivery when she arrived at work Wednesday morning, Jan. 16. The surprise wasn’t balloons, flowers or even a party in her honor. The special delivery came in the form of a baby delivered by officer Angie Solis in a van parked outside of the Western Regional Code Enforcement office located at 17554 Cajalco Road in Perris.

It was cold and rainy as Solis arrived to work. She noticed a van near the front of the building and heard a man call out, “My wife is in labor! She’s about to have a baby!”
