St. Jeanne de Lestonnac School 4th annual Nun Run ignites solidarity

The race is on for the fastest runner in the pack – or is it? St. Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School's Nun Run is not a typical 5k race. The annual community event held Sunday, Jan. 27, kicked off National Catholic Schools Week. Each year the school celebrates parents, teachers, staff and its founders – the Sisters of the Company of Mary who facilitate Catholic education.

The school's mission, "is to develop its students' mind and spirit, grow in their faith and be their very best that God created them to be," Principal Kristen Mora said.
