Murrieta tow yard fire destroys at least 10 vehicles

MURRIETA - A fire destroyed a row of vehicles at a Murrieta tow yard early in the morning of Sunday, Feb. 3, though no one was injured.

The blaze was reported at about 4:20 a.m. in the 26000 block of Adams Avenue, according to the Murrieta Fire Department.

The fire burned at least 10 vehicles, resulting in complete loss, with a few others sustaining smoke damage, though no structures were affected, the department said.

Firefighters managed to knock down the flames in about 20 minutes.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
