Temecula FC will host City of Angels FC Saturday, Feb. 9, at Chaparral High School as the club kicks off its sixth consecutive National Premier Soccer League season.

Temecula FC, the local American Soccer Club based in Temecula, kicks off its sixth consecutive National Premier Soccer League season at Chaparral High School Saturday, Feb. 9. The opener will be against City of Angels FC. This match will be between two sides from very different extremes in ownership, management and population. City of Angels FC is owned by PJ Harrison and Joe Sumner, whose father just happens to be Sting, and the club recently announced Cobi Jones (US Soccer's most capped player) has joined on as Director of Football from Los Angeles with a population of 4. Million. Temecula FC, which is a family owned club by local resident Brandon Jantz and operated by volunteers in a city with the population of 114,327, is excited to bring City of Angels FC. This match is set to be one of the most exciting matchups in the 2019 Southwest Conference.

Temecula FC is known for its commitment to attacking football on the field, and loud and rowdy supporters' group in the stands. Founded in Temecula in 2013, Temecula FC is the longest serving club in the Southwest Conference with deep roots in the local community.
