The Temecula Valley Museum to host Jazzy Ash and the Leaping Lizards

Jazzy Ash and the Leaping Lizards will perform at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater, Feb. 28.

TEMECULA – In celebration of American History, the Temecula Valley Museum will host Jazzy Ash and the Leaping Lizards at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater, 42051 Main St., Thursday, Feb. 28, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Join Jazzy Ash and the band as they take a joyous journey through early Black American music. Jazzy Ash uses some of the greatest songs from early black folk music, blues, ragtime and jazz to teach about the multicultural story of jazz in America.

The special performance will be held on one night only. Admission is $20 per person, and tickets can be purchased online at http://www.TemeculaTheater.org or by visiting the Old Town Temecula Community Theater ticket office. For ticket office hours, call (866) 653-8696.

Now in its ninth year, the goal of the Celebration of American Black History program hosted by the Temecula Valley Museum is to celebrate history and culture through entertainment and education. The success of this program led to a recent partnership with the theater. It will be the third year of this collaboration, and the second year this program will be held at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater.
