Everyone's a champion in special needs youth basketball league

Last Saturday morning marked the end of the season for the Champions Division – a special needs basketball league in Temecula – run by Temecula Youth Basketball Leagues. Temecula Youth Basketball Leagues has been serving young basketball players in Temecula for more than a quarter of a century, but the Champions Division just completed its first season.

The division consisted of 28 players of varying age groups that played most Saturday mornings at the Temecula Community Recreation Center. The division was developed, according to TYBL President Jeff Logan, after a facility use meeting...
