Snoop Dogg to headline Salute the Troops Music and Comedy Festival at March Air Reserve Base

Snoop Dogg is slated to perform at the Salute the Troops Music and Comedy Festival set for the end of March at March Air Force Base.

RIVERSIDE - The first-ever Salute The Troops Music And Comedy Festival, founded by Nate Parienti and co-founded with John Wertz of Semper Fi Productions, announced the artists that will perform March 22-23 at March Air Reserve Base in Riverside, though more are expected to be added.

The two-day festival will seek to "raise awareness of post-traumatic stress disorder and the high rate of suicide among returning service members."

Snoop Dogg, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Dashboard Confessional, Cold War Kids, Capital Cities, Cheat Codes, Yellowcard's William Ryan Key, and the New Power Generation are scheduled to perform. Ghostface Killah and Method Man, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, Cappadonna, and U-God will be in attendance, though it's unclear the contingent from the Wu-Tang Clan will perform. Redman will also perform.

The Salute the Troops festival also has a comedy aspect and announced Adam Corolla and Rob Riggle to the lineup.

Two-day tickets are on sale now at http://www.salutethetroops.com, and for each ticket sold, a free ticket will be provided to an active duty serviceman or servicewoman. Discounted ticket prices are available for veterans.
