The 'KonMari' method of tidying up takes local homes by storm

Since the Netflix show "Tidying Up with Marie Kondo" has aired, local thrift and second-hand stores in the Temecula Valley have seen an influx of donated items.

Everyone dreams of having a perfect home, but few people know where to start in the labor-intensive process of decluttering. It's difficult to know what may be useful later and what is simply creating clutter.

The new Netflix original show "Tidying Up with Marie Kondo," however, inspired a nationwide organizational movement, extending to the Temecula Valley.
