Protestors gather in objection of president's national emergency declaration

More than 60 people gathered Monday, Feb. 18, at the Duck Pond in Temecula to protest President Donald Trump's declaration of a national emergency Friday, Feb. 15.

More than 60 people gathered at the corner of Rancho California and Ynez roads Monday, Feb. 18, to protest President Donald Trump's declaration of a national emergency.

During a news conference Friday, Feb. 15, Trump announced his intent to sign a declaration of a National Emergency at the southern border of the United States. The declaration is intended to reallocate funds intended for other uses and put that money toward building a wall at the southern border.
