Dave Dolan lands whopper on recent fishing trip

Local fishreman Dave Dolan has outdone himself – again. He is well-known for landing good-sized fish, many even larger than himself. In a recent trip to Mexican waters, he brought in a personal record, a whopping 246-pound yellowfin tuna.

A San Diego native, Dolan grew up in close proximity to freshwater lakes and had easy access to the ocean. He discovered fishing and has honed and expanded his skills over the years.

Today Dolan takes his angling to a new level, educating others by hosting radio shows and writing newspaper columns. He presents the Cast Away fishing show on KOYT-FM 97.1...
