'Bus Riley's Back in Town'

Opening night at the Bach Theatre in Murrieta was mind-boggling. I was spellbound during the whole 45-minute production. Gregory Bach calls what he does film noir; a style of directing used in the 40s and 50s which suggests a mood of pessimism mixed with a dramatic love story.

The casting was perfect, and each actor performed so believably that I found myself hanging on every word, every pregnant pause and every movement.

The movements are more like those you'd see in film rather than a play; slow and deliberate. The actors speak in their regular voices, not loudly projecting to a massive...
