What's happening in Temecula wine country

While construction projects continue at the home of Akash Winery, the winery has been serving its wine club members at Cheflavor in the Vail Headquarters in Temecula.

The vines are dormant, and the weather's been chilly – if not downright abusive – which might lead people to believe that things are slowing down in Temecula Wine Country.

That might be true to some extent, but it doesn't mean the wineries have closed up shop and have headed inside for the winter. In fact, during the next few weeks or so, the action out there will begin to heat up along with the weather.

So, Valley News thought we would recap the latest happenings in and around wine country so wine lovers can prepare.
