Massive four-wheel-drive Jeeps answer the call to assist a local veteran who was unable to leave his home for days due to snow, ice and mud.

On the snowy and frigid day Wednesday, Feb. 20, local veteran Max "Max Rebel III" awoke to find himself in need of food and propane. With the rains of Feb. 14 still making the dirt road slick and dangerous for his small Mazda truck, the new snowfall and icy conditions made it even worse. He had been stuck at home for almost a week.

He said he thought fast, reaching out to his buddy John Goley, a former Army airborne infantryman. Goley, located in Barbourville, Kentucky, is active in the veteran community nationwide and a friend of Max, who wished to not be identified by his last name.
