Temecula Sunrise Rotary Music Competition announces winners

Temecula Sunrise Rotary Club announces the winners of the 20th annual music competition, including in the front row Robyn Morales who took third place, Arissa Jeong, Emika Saito who took first place and in back Fiona Harley, Olivia Greenwood who took fourth place, Charmaine Tan and Brianna Chang who took second place. 

TEMECULA – The Temecula Sunrise Rotary Club named the winners of its 20th annual music competition, Feb. 12, at Grace Presbyterian Church in Temecula. There were three categories of musical presentations: vocal, piano and other instrumental, and seven high school students from the Temecula Valley area competed for cash prizes.

First place went to pianist Emika Saito, a junior at Great Oak High School in Temecula. Saito, who won $400, played Un Sospiro, S.144:3 from Trois etudes de concert by Franz Liszt. In second place, violinist Brianna Chang won $250. Chang is a junior at Great Oak Hi...
