'Into the Woods' opens Friday, March 15 at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater.

TEMECULA - What happens after "happily ever after?" Fractured Brother's Grimm fairy tales provide the context for the beautiful show that is "Into the Woods," opening Friday, March 15 at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater.

Cinderella, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood, and Jack in the Beanstalk and company inhabit a pastoral neighborhood in which witches and bakers are next-door neighbors, handsome princes from once-parallel fables are competitive (and equally vain) brothers, and all the stories intersect through unexpected new plot twists.

Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's beloved musical intertwines classic fairytales with a contemporary edge to tell stories of wishes granted and the price paid.

Joseph Arreola and Brittany Campbell (co-directors) and Rachel Bailey (music director) team up to bring a charming and thought-provoking look at the familiar tale with actors from all over Southern California.

Welcoming new and familiar faces back to the Old Town Temecula stage, Fine Arts Network's cast includes: Eric Little (Narrator), Shannon Murphy (Witch), Dakota Malbrough (Baker's Wife), Jaylen Baham (Baker), Aaron Gibbs (Jack), Robin St. John Kouri (Jack's Mom), Jacquelyn Peterson (Cinderella), Tanner Vidos (Cinderella's Prince/ Wolf), Raquel Deporto (Cinderella's Stepmom), Renee Bailey and Grace Wade (Cinderella's Stepsisters), Shealagh Burke (Cinderella's Mother), BreeAnna Adler (Rapunzel), Priya Mapleton (Little Red), Brandon Gonzalez (Rapunzel's Prince), Morgan Morris (Steward), Sarah Gibbon (Granny/Giant), and Christopher Campbell (Cinderella's Father).

The production also features a live orchestra.

Performances begin Friday, March 15 and continue through March 31 at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater, 42051 Main Street in Temecula.

Tickets are available at http://www.temeculatheater.org or by calling (866) OLD-TOWN.
