Tour de Murrieta returns to historic downtown

The 14th annual Tour de Murrieta returns to historic downtown Murrieta Saturday and Sunday, March 9-10, with some of the most competitive race teams in the country scheduled to race for glory.

But while the professionals and their finely-tuned speed machines will draw the "oohs" and "aahs" on the weekend, it's the racers that may or may not need training wheels that might steal the show.

The Pacific Western Bank Kid's Race, for children under the age of 12, is sure to be a hit with fans at noon Saturday.
