Hemet City Council reviews midyear budget reports

The Hemet City Council approved the midyear budget report with a $425,375 expenditure adjustment to the general and non-general fund budgets and an increase of $175,000 in revenues during their Tuesday, Feb. 26, meeting.

The amended increase in the midyear budget was mainly due to additional costs for fire and police salary increases that were due July 1, 2018, and the cost of the city website update, according to the report by Hemet City Finance Director Lorena Rocha.
