Lake Elsinore Police conduct outreach operation, six arrested

David Burcham, Pati Lomeli, and Brian Morgan were arrested Saturday.

LAKE ELSINORE - Lake Elsinore Police on Saturday, March 9 conducted an outreach operation in conjunction with the Riverside Sheriff's Homeless Outreach Team, as well as volunteers from Social Work Action Group (SWAG), Riverside County Behavioral Health, and Lake Elsinore Dream Center.

The operation was designed to provide assistance to those in need, as well as to serve outstanding warrants within the community.

During the operation, a total of 16 homeless camps were visited, resulting in 37 people being contacted and offered resources and support services such as mental health, transitional housing, and shelter resources. Of the 37 people contacted, 10 accepted assistance.

Another 19 people were cited and released within the city for misdemeanor warrants and provided with court dates. An additional six people were arrested and booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta.

David Burcham, 57, was arrested for public intoxication. Pati Lomeli, 25, and David De La Rosa, 25, were arrested for being under the influence of drugs. Jeremy Derain, 36, and Reynaldo Salgado, 43, were arrested for felony drugs, and Brian Morgan, 29, of Temecula, was arrested on a felony weapons warrant service.
