Former MV softball standout, Danielle Gibson, belts HR cycle for Arkansas

Danielle Gibson, a former Murrieta Valley High School standout softball player, became one of two NCAA Division 1 players to ever hit for the home run cycle last week with the University of Arkansas Razorbacks.

It seems like just yesterday that Murrieta Valley High School's Danielle Gibson was making local headlines as the 2017 All-Southwestern League Most Valuable Player. Now, as a standout at the University of Arkansas, Gibson is making national headlines.

Last week Gibson became one of two NCAA Division 1 softball players to ever hit for the home run cycle – a solo, two-run and three-run home run and a grand slam – in four innings.
