TEMECULA - A teenager is killed in a traffic collision every four hours and thousands more are injured every year. The best way to eliminate high-risk driving behaviors and keep your child safe is through education.

The California Highway Patrol's Temecula office is proud to offer the "Smart Start" program which provides traffic safety education classes to teens and their parents using innovative techniques to ensure new drivers have the tools and knowledge to travel safely.

The free "Start Smart" class will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 28 at the Temecula City Hall Conference Center, 41000 Main Street in Temecula.

Parents are encouraged to attend.

To RSVP, please contact CHP Officer Mike Lassig at (951) 506-2000 or [email protected]
