Temecula City Council sends framework for Short-Term Rental Ordinance back to subcommittee

After much discussion between subcommittee members, council members and many members of the public, Temecula City Council decided Tuesday, March 12, to send the matter of proposed framework to develop a Short-Term Rental Ordinance for the city back to the subcommittee.

They also directed Assistant City Manager and Community Development Director Luke Watson to remove unhosted short-term rentals for the discussion.

Currently, Temecula has no ordinance regarding short-term rentals.

The direction came after a presentation by Temecula planner Brandon Rabidou and much input from city residents...
