High-school students to perform Shakespearen monologues

TEMECULA – “All the world’s a stage and all the men and women merely players.” Shakespeare said.

On William Shakespeare’s birthday Tuesday, April 23, the community can watch many players perform some of Shakespeare’s most famous speeches at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater.

Dozens of young actors from high schools around the Inland Empire will compete in the seventh annual High School Shakespeare Monologue Competition April 23, from 6-9 p.m., at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater in Temecula.
