This U-Haul towing a 2004 silver two-door Toyota Solara was stolen from a Wildomar apartment complex early Friday evening.

A Wildomar couple preparing to move to Flagstaff lost all their belongings with the exception of the clothes on their backs, when their fully-loaded U-Haul, complete with their vehicle on a trailer, was stolen out of a parking lot Friday night.

The U-Haul was stolen from a parking lot near the intersection of Yamas Drive and Prielipp Road in Wildomar sometime between 5 and 7 p.m. March 29.

Alissa Grant, along with her husband, was preparing to move to Flagstaff where she had recently accepted a job. She was supposed to begin work Monday, according to Heather Olinger, a family friend.

The worst part of it the situation is the loss of the couple's personal belongings including family photos of Grant's recently deceased son.

"Alissa is devastated by this," Olinger said in a social media posting. "Imagine losing a child then having everything else taken as well."

The U-Haul has Arizona license plates, number AHO1365, the vehicle trailer has Maryland license plates, number 1928SO. The vehicle on the transport is a 2004 two-door silver Toyota Solara with California license plates, number 7416972.
