Menifee eighth-grade student sets sights on becoming top Off-Road racer

Thirteen-year-old Connor Barry of Menifee won seven events on the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series during the 2018 season.

As an eighth-grade student, most teenagers are into way more things than playing in the dirt, but for 13-year-old Connor Barry, his version of playing in the dirt involves racing around in it, driving and racing an off-road vehicle.

Connor started racing when he was 7 years old in the Lucas Oil Off Road Regional CA short course series. He started in the Jr1 Trophy kart class, which is one of the introductory divisions of the sport for ages 8-15.
