San Diego Blood Bank sponsors three local blood drives

LAKE ELSINORE – San Diego Blood Bank is partnering with two schools and a shopping center to host mobile blood drives in April.

Temescal Canyon High School is hosting a blood drive in partnership with the San Diego Blood Bank Friday, April 5, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in their small gym at 28755 El Toro Road in Lake Elsinore.

The Outlets at Lake Elsinore will host a blood drive Monday, April 8, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in their parking lot at 17600 Collier Ave. in Lake Elsinore.

Calvary Murrieta High School is hosting a blood drive Friday, April 12, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in a high school room on their secondary campus at 24275 Monroe Ave. in Murrieta.

Anyone 17 and older, who weighs at least 114 pounds and is in good health may be eligible to donate blood. A good meal and plenty of fluids are recommended before donation. All donors must show picture identification. Donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment to donate, but walk-ins are welcome.
