WILDOMAR - Wildomar City Hall was evacuated on Monday, April 8 when a fire alarm went off, but no threat was found in the building.

The alarm was reported about 12:50 p.m. at 23873 Clinton Keith Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Several engine crews were sent to the location, where the alarm was still sounding after personnel arrived.

A search of the building turned up no smoke or flames, and a battalion chief at the scene said that the alarm was likely the result of a malfunction.

The complex was re-opened shortly after 1 p.m.
