Schoonmaker of Temecula participates in undergraduate research and creative activity conference

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Nearly 500 students at The University of Alabama highlighted their research and creative projects during the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Conference, March 27. Among them was Alyssa Schoonmaker of Temecula, whose presentation was titled “The Effects of Beat Gesture and Pitch Accenting on Discourse Comprehension and Memory” in the social sciences category.

The 12th annual conference is hosted by University of Alabama’s Office for Undergraduate Research and the Office for Research and Economic Development.
