AFV leads charge in ending pet overpopulation internationally

WILDOMAR – Animal Friends of the Valleys is leading the charge to stop pet overpopulation and animal cruelty internationally. The nonprofit animal shelter which serves six Southern California cities and rural area was recently selected by Humane Society International to host and train two veterinary students from Turkey and Egypt, April 8-12, at the clinic in Lake Elsinore as part of HSI’s Veterinary Training Internship Program.

The training occurs one week before The Humane Society International Expo, the largest international conference and trade show for animal welfare professionals...
