Construction begins on Pechanga Parkway widening project

Barriers and K-Rails have been installed along northbound Pechanga Parkway as work has begun on a road widening project from Via Gilberto to North Casino Drive.

The City of Temecula began work late last month on a road widening project on Pechanga Parkway that will take the bottlenecked portion of the road that is currently two lanes to a full three lanes.

The span of the road under construction runs from Via Gilberto to North Casino Drive.

The project is expected to be completed in September and construction hours are expected from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. overnight, as needed, according to the city.
