Linfield Christian announces new head of school

Marc Horton is the new head of school at Linfield Christian High School, replacing the late Drake Charles who died Jan. 18 from Lou Gehrig's disease.

TEMECULA – After an extensive nationwide search, Linfield Christian High School announced the selection of Marc Horton as the new head of school, replacing Drake Charles, who died Jan. 18 from Lou Gehrig's disease.

Horton has been a teacher and a principal at various times in his career, but he comes to Linfield Christian from the Temecula Valley Unified School District, where he currently serves as the director of curriculum, instruction and assessment. Horton will begin his tenure as head of school, May 1.
