Hemet Council makes employment agreement with interim city manager

The Hemet City Council at its short April 9 council meeting approved an employment agreement with Christopher Lopez for the position of interim city manager until a new permanent city manager can be hired.

Lopez will stand in as city manager but retain his position as assistant city manager when a new permanent city manager is found. Lopez was tapped for the interim position following the termination of Allen Parker last month without cause.
