Turkish, Egyptian students visit AFV for training, experience

The duo participated in Humane Society International's Veterinary Training Internship Program, and AFV hosted and trained the students for a week.

According to students Murat Bekhan of Turkey and Abdelrahman Moustafa of Egypt, the opportunity to learn from the staff at Animal Friends of the Valleys for a week has been invaluable.

AFV was chosen by Humane Society International to host and train the two veterinary students April 8-12 as part of its Veterinary Training Internship Program. After leaving Lake Elsinore, the pair traveled to The Humane Society International Expo, the largest international conference and trade show for animal welfare professionals and volunteers, which took place in New Orleans.
