Keep pets safe from wild animals

After a long, wet and cold winter, the sun is shining, and the flowers are blooming. Along with flowers and sunshine, spring brings the pups and offspring of coyotes and other wild animals.

Many wild animals have their babies during the months of April and May, so the region is in prime season to see and hear coyotes and mountain lions, raccoons, opossums and snakes.

While humans must aim to peacefully coexist with wild animals, it’s mandatory they take precautions to keep their beloved pets safe from becoming their next meal.
