Temecula City Council shelves controversial resolution

The Temecula City Council ultimately decided not to pursue the passage of a resolution, written by Mayor Mike Naggar and Councilmember Matt Rahn, brought in front of the council during a four-hour meeting Tuesday, April 23.

The resolution was described on the agenda as "A resolution of the city council of the city of Temecula reaffirming the principles outlined in the Constitution of the United States of America."

Rahn announced the addition of the resolution Friday, April 19, on his public-facing Facebook account.
