Murrieta Valley Alum, Tyler Wade, making moves for the New York Yankees

The New York Yankees visited Southern California last week, taking on the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in a four-game series. Among the names in the Yankees starting lineup was that of former Murrieta Valley Nighthawk baseball player, Tyler Wade. Wade, who hit over .500 as a senior, was selected by the New York Yankees in the fourth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft. He had originally committed to play college baseball at San Diego State University but chose to forgo his commitment and sign with the Yankees, for a healthy signing bonus.
