Garage Brewing Co. takes home medals at craft beer competition

TEMECULA – Garage Brewing Co. announced that it was among several Inland Empire craft breweries to garner medals at the 2019 International Los Angeles Beer Competition, Thursday, April 18.

Other Inland Empire breweries to medal include: Last Name Brewing and Rok House Brewing in Upland, Ritual Brewing out of Redlands, Babe’s Barbecue and Brewhouse in Rancho Mirage, Euryale Brewing Company out of Riverside, Black Market Brewing, BJ’s Brewhouse and Wiens Brewing Co. in Temecula and Inland Wharf Brewing in Murrieta.

Upland, where I went to high school in the 60's, was then known as a refined upscale community; with a strong tilt toward primary and secondary education,and a decisive tilt away from alcohol. Murrieta, my current home, has always been known for its extraordinarily effective police and fire protection, and a bucolic way of life. Temecula has been known for a vibrant economy, and a very alive culture. But now all three towns make the news more for alcohol than anything else.
