Murrieta City Council sees leasing non-public safety vehicles as a long-term cost saving

The Murrieta City Council approved a lease agreement with Enterprise Fleet Management Co. to lease future non-public safety vehicles at much lower prices and to rebid a planned senior outdoor recreation area at the May 7 council meeting.

Currently they operate a non-public safety fleet of 56 vehicles used by the Public Works, Community Services and Development departments, many of the vehicles are more than 10 years old and in need of repairs.
