Temecula Police asking possible sexual assault victims to come forward

Police believe Mark Richard Neeley II of Temecula has assaulted others

Mark Richard Neeley II, 36, of Temecula was charged with with four counts of forcible rape, one count each of sodomy of a victim under duress, false imprisonment, possession of an assault rifle, carrying a firearm without a license and sentence-enhancing allegations of targeting multiple victims in sex crimes.

TEMECULA - Temecula Police Department investigators are asking possible victims of a Temecula man arrested for sexual assault last week come forward to aid and add to their investigation.

Mark Richard Neeley II, 36, of Temecula was arrested in connection with a sexual assault that occurred in the early morning hours of Friday, May 17 on the 44000 block of Bellflower Lane in Temecula.

A search warrant was served by investigators at Neeley's residence linked Neeley to the incident and investigators have identified additional victims with similar accusations against Neeley. Investigators are conducting further investigation into those other incidents.

Neeley was arrested during the service of the search warrant at his residence and was booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center on charges involving sex acts and his bail was set at $1,000,000.

Neeley was charged with multiple felonies on Wednesday, May 22:

Based on the circumstances of the investigation, according to investigators, "it appears there could be other victims who have not come forward at this time."
