TVUSD holds first-ever Parent Community Resource Fair

The Temecula Valley Unified School District held the first Parent Community Resource Fair in partnership with Hope Collaborative and Murrieta Valley Unified School District on Monday, May 20 inside the Temecula Valley High School mini gymnasium.

TVUSD students and parents attended the free event and gathered information from resource partners, enjoyed activities, a photo booth, music, fun giveaways, and Kona Ice.

More than 50 participating agencies showcased their services and resources including health, counseling, trauma prevention, suicide awareness, family intervention, chemical dependency, homelessness, domestic violence, and social-emotional supports. There were also representatives from local food banks, adoption and foster agencies, and the opportunity for families to receive on-site dental and medical screenings as well as the ability to complete CALFRESH application at the DPSS mobile unit.
