Old School Round Up Fundraiser Sand Drags roar through Anza

Eighty-one-year-old Larry Dyer runs his buggy with the best of the drivers at the Old School Round Up Fundraiser Sand Drags held Saturday, May 11.

The sounds and sights of high-powered sand rails, dirt bikes, ATVs and side by sides could be seen and heard for miles at the Old School Round Up Fundraiser Sand Drags Saturday, May 11.

The Wrecked Fence Off-Road Park, formerly known as Wellman Off-Road Park, hosted a fun weekend of grudge racing, camping, food and music.

Despite a forecast of rain, the weather cooperated, and a bright, partly cloudy day greeted fans and racers. The event was not organized as a race day with trophies and placement, but as a grudge match, fun time at the track with like-minded enthusiasts.
