San Jacinto High School students showcase their talent

The San Jacinto High School performing arts center came alive Friday, May 17, as 16 student performers took the stage during the school's talent show grand finale.

The performances ranged from hip-hop dance by the Dancing Sisters Dayana, Shenberlin and Sedie Balbuena to Eduardo Gonzales's violin solo, "Ashokan Farewell" by Jay Ungar. Student Cesar Ramirez donned his 50s hat to sing "Come Fly Away" by Frank Sinatra with a little bit of nostalgia for the grandparents. Violet Murphy jumped in with another famous showtune, "Dream a Little Dream of Me" by Ella Fitzgerald.
