MENIFEE – Recent population statistics from the California Department of Finance named the city of Menifee’s 2018 population at 93,452 residents, a 2.9% rise in population since last year. This increase makes Menifee the fastest growing city in southwest Riverside County, the second fastest growing city in Riverside County and the seventh fastest growing city in California.

Although California is experiencing the slowest growth rate in the state’s history, as stated by the DOF, at 0.47%, Menifee continues to grow at top ranking pace. Menifee trails Beaumont for fastest-growing city in Riverside County but tops neighboring cities by over double.

“We are proud to be the second fastest growing city in Riverside County, and there is a reason that Menifee is booming,” Mayor Bill Zimmerman said. “Menifee is safe community with brand-new beautiful shopping centers, lush parks and many new housing options and because of that people are flocking to the city.”

“Menifee is growing very fast and has quickly become recognized as a premier city,” Menifee City Manager Armando Villa said. “With the start of the city’s own municipal police department, investment in infrastructure and amenities, Menifee is catching the attention of residents and businesses who are looking at Menifee for opportunities to expand and increase their quality of life.”
