The Temecula Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying the woman in these photos. They say she claimed a wedding ring that didn't belong to her that was being cleaned at a jewelry store in Temecula.

TEMECULA - The Temecula Police Department on Thursday, May 30 turned to social media to ask for the public's help in locating or identifying a woman they believe impersonated a customer at a jewelry store in Temecula and walked out with a wedding ring that she didn't own.

The alleged crime happened at 11 a.m. May 9 when an unidentified woman, shown in a series of security camera photos, "walked into the Jewelry Mart located at 26455 Ynez Road, Temecula, and impersonated a customer in order to commit a theft."
