Students from alternative and continuation high schools overcome barriers to be honored as Top Scholars

RIVERSIDE – The Riverside County Board of Education honored 40 students from 26 alternative and continuation schools in the county who have seized their second chance at education and excelled in order to earn the title of Top Scholar and graduate as part of the class of 2019 – a reality that some believed was impossible.
