Temecula Valley Elks award state Drug Awareness winners

Diane Farrens, the California-Hawaii Elks Drug Awareness chairman, awards Van Avery Prep School students Kevin Bui and Ibrahim Abunadi as the Elks Drug Awareness video winners and Lauren Stringer, also from Van Avery Prep School, as a first-place winner in the Drug Awareness essay contest at the state level with Angela Stevanus, the Southeast District Drug Awareness chairman.

TEMECULA – Recently, the California-Hawaii Elks Drug Awareness Chairman Diane Farrens made presentations to three state winners from the Temecula Valley Elks Lodge.

The four winners from Temecula Valley Elks Lodge 2801 Drug Awareness Contest were sent onto the Southeast District level for additional judging. Three of these students won at the district level and were sent to the state level for additional judging.

Lauren Stringer from Van Avery Prep School was a first-place winner in the Drug Awareness Essay Contest at the state level.
