HEMET - Three teenage boys suspected of committing a series of break-ins throughout Hemet and San Jacinto over the last month were arrested on Monday, June 3 after allegedly forcing their way inside a CVS store in Hemet.

According to Hemet police Lt. Jeff Davis, the trio got into the business at 3055 W.Florida Ave. about 2:30 a.m., triggering an alarm to which patrol officers responded.

The suspects, two 14-year-olds and a 15-year-old whose names were withheld because they are juveniles, were quickly located near the CVS and arrested on suspicion of commercial burglary, Davis said.

They were booked into Riverside Juvenile Hall.

Further investigation revealed that the boys were likely behind a string of break-ins in the Hemet Valley in recent weeks, according to Davis, but no other details were disclosed.

Anyone with information was asked to call either the Hemet Police Department Detective Bureau at (951) 765-2413 or the sheriff's Hemet station at 951-654-2702.
