Menifee man shot, killed in front of his house

MENIFEE - A 38-year-old Menifee man was found shot in the front yard of his home late Saturday, June 1, and despite life-saving measures performed by Menifee Police Department officers, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

At 9:50 p.m. Saturday, officers from the Menifee Police Department responded to the reported shooting in front of a residence on the 29000 block of Light Sails Court, Menifee. Investigators from Perris Station and the Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit responded to the scene and assumed the investigation which is still on-going.

The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification to family.
