Vail Ranch Restoration Association says 'mission accomplished'

The windmill and water tower at Vail Headquarters welcome guests and shoppers to the center which has been thriving after the historical site was renovated for retail use.

The Vail Ranch Restoration Association, a nonprofit organization formed in the mid-1990s to protect the historical Vail Ranch Headquarters site in South Temecula from development and subsequent demolition, said it has done its job.

In a newsletter distributed earlier this month, the organization announced that it will be "joining forces" with the Temecula Valley Historical Society to continue the effort to preserve the property.
