Two suspects arrested in Anza shooting death

ANZA (CNS) - Two men were arrested in connection with the shooting death of a man dropped off at a Riverside County fire station, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

A suspect identified as Maxwell Reynolds, 28, of Anza was arrested Friday for suspicion of murder and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center, Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Rick Espinoza said.

A suspect identified as Brandon Pollard, 27, of Escondido, was arrested and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center, Espinoza said.

The victim was brought about 11:40 p.m. Tuesday to the fire station in the 56500 block of Highway 371, the sergeant said.

His name has not yet been released by the Riverside County coroner's office.

Investigators determined the shooting occurred at a property in the area of Trip Flats Road and Bautista Canyon in Anza, Espinoza said.
